Being Outside

Being Outside

Living outside changes you.

I don't always think in words any more. I get confused by the sense of importance we place on the things we talk about just to feel more comfortable with each other - and by how many of us there are, all swarming around the concrete we've extruded.

I definitely don't think in terms of concepts invented by other people any more. Though I do see that most of you are caged inside very arbitrary worldviews.

"I just can't date her any more, she doesn't have enough ambition." I heard him complain at a bar the next booth over. But I could tell from the way he defended the statement after, that the real problem was she wasn't thirsty enough in bed.
